WELLNESS CENTER EXERCISE ACTIVITIES
INTRO TO LOW IMPACT CARDIO EQUIPMENT
Mary Ann Reynolds will go over proper adjustments on bikes, seated elliptical, and Nu-Step for ease of joint use on shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. This will also cover how to use programs on the machines. Each day will cover a different piece of equipment. Dates are June 11, July 9, August 6, and September 3 at 9:30 a.m.
LIIT (Lower Intensity Interval Training)
Join Michelle Bartoszek for some lower intensity interval training for older adults and beginner fitness levels. For ages 12 and older. Ages 12 – 15 will need to complete a YouthFit (see back page) Certification. This program will take place in the Wellness Center July 27, August 31, and September 28 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
STABILITY/BOSU BALL TRAINING
Learn exercises for strength and balance on a stability ball and Bosu ball with Lana Cullison. Takes place in the Wellness Center July 5, August 2, and September 6 at 9:30 a.m. or ages 12 and older. Ages 12 – 15 will need to complete a YouthFit (see back page) Certification.
Faith Hopper will demonstrate core and strength training exercises using your own body weight with the TRX Bands in the Wellness Center. For ages 12 and older and all fitness levels. July 10 and 24, August 14, and September 11 at 10:15 a.m.
