SUMMER DAY CAMP
Camp is a nurturing, fun environment for children to learn, grow and develop social skills. At the Y, each child is able to cultivate the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.
This summer, Camp Discovery will focus on STEM subjects, like science and engineering, that are found in our everyday lives. Weekly themes will involve fun STEM-based activities that encourage higher-level thinking and inspire innovation. Our goal is to promote the idea that campers of all ages posses the educational tools to make positive changes in the world around them.
We are requesting that new families or any families unfamiliar with the registration process, attendance and camp policies, rules, daily schedule and activities, etc. schedule a 30-minute orientation with a camp staff member for a tour, handbook walk-through, rule overview, and question and answer session. Please contact Camp Director, Kaity Riley, at email@example.com or 812.734.0770 to schedule your family’s Camp Discovery Orientation.
